What we collect
When you run an analysis we store the URL you submitted, the public HTML signals we extracted from it (meta tags, structured data, headings), and the generated report. If you rate-limit us by running many analyses, we temporarily store your IP address to enforce those limits. If you create an account, we store your email and a hashed password.
How we use your data
We use the analysis data to generate your report and show it back to you via a public, shareable link. We use your email only to let you sign in, recover your password, and — if you opt in — send you weekly reports for your sites. We do not sell your data and we do not use it to train machine learning models.
Cookies and sessions
We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use third-party tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or analytics that identify individual visitors.
Traffic measurement
We keep our own log of page views so we can tell which pages bring visitors and which AI crawlers read the site. It is first-party, sets no cookies, and stores no IP address for human visits: each visit carries a one-way hash of your IP and browser, salted with a key that rotates daily, so the same visitor cannot be recognized across days or traced back to an IP. We do keep the IP of automated traffic — crawlers and vulnerability scanners — because checking whether a bot really is who it claims to be is part of what this service does.
Affiliate links
Some recommendation links on our reports are affiliate links. If you click through and purchase a tool we recommend, we may earn a commission. Clicks are recorded anonymously in aggregate so we can measure which recommendations are useful; we do not share click data with the tool vendors.
Third parties
We fetch the public pages you ask us to analyze. We do not share your URLs, reports, or account data with any third party. The infrastructure we use to host the app (database, hosting provider) processes data on our behalf under standard data processing agreements.
Your rights
You can request a copy of the data we hold about you or ask us to delete your account and its associated analyses at any time. Email us and we will confirm the action within a reasonable timeframe.
Changes to this policy
If we materially change how we handle your data we will update this page and, for account holders, send a notification by email before the change takes effect.
